Spice of Life is designed to sleep up to 8 people across four bedrooms, and offers a private pool, sun-blessed roof terrace, balcony and beautiful living rooms. It is surrounded by banana trees, cocoa plants, palm trees and a variety of vibrantly-coloured shrubs and flowers.

Roof terrace
The stunning roof terrace - accessed from the first floor balcony - is the size of the house, with two benches and a table, ideal for a sunny retreat! The roof has a 360° view of the sea and the hills. It is perfectly situated to enjoy watching the sun rise majestically over the sea, and then watch it set again over the hills in the evening. At this latitude, the stars are as stunningly bright as you can imagine.

First floor
This is open plan, comprising the sitting room, dining room, kitchen and a TV area, with DVD player. The dining and sitting areas have double doors onto a large covered balcony.
There are two double bedrooms rooms (queen-size beds) both with en-suite shower rooms and double doors onto the covered balcony.
The balcony runs the length of one side of the house. It has a table and chairs for dining as well as four easy chairs for a more informal time. The balcony benefits from fabulous Atlantic views and a warm breeze nearly all year long.

Ground Floor

• 1 bedroom with twins that can be locked together as a double (queen size) bed.
• 1 bedroom with twin beds - en-suite with bath and shower - this bedroom also has mosquito nets over the beds.
• Shower room - off living area, also handy for the pool.
• Seating area with TV, DVD player, table-tennis table, two seat sofa and chair. There is also a travel cot and a high-chair stored in a cupboard.
• Laundry room - big American washer, extra sink and ample drying lines - very useful for the pool.
• There is also a table tennis table that can be left out, or folded up.
• Door to pool walkway.
• Car port and additional ample parking outside.
• Private pool - pool room with some pool toys (couple of noodles, dive rings, etc). The pool is 15' by 35' with a 10' walkway all around it and a table and chairs. The Pool Room has been equipped with a sink, fridge and storage to enable drinks and food to be enjoyed by the Pool. The Pool Deck has a table and six chairs to enable outside dining. There is an outside shower next to the Pool. As with all pools in the Caribbean, the pool is heated only by the sun. The pool is fully serviced.
• Garden out the back with its own castle ruin. Spice of Life is surrounded by banana trees, cocoa plants, palm trees and an array of brightly coloured trees, shrubs and plants.

Facilities

• Maid service 5 or 6 times a week (depending on any public holidays). They will change beds, wash-up, clean, wash towels, etc. Fully fitted kitchen - coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and gas cooker. Plates, cutlery and glasses for 12, champagne glasses, plastic stuff for by pool, bowls, sharp knives etc.
• Hair-dryer.
• Safe (in master bedroom).
• Linen and towels (bath and beach) in each bedroom.
• Cable TV (upstairs and down).
• Broadband internet access.
• Stereo and phone (on which you can make only local calls, but receive any).
• All bedrooms with air-conditioning, though given the Atlantic breeze just opening the windows is usually enough.
• All windows have mosquito nets.
• Sitting room has ceiling fans.

Extras

• We can arrange for hire car to be at airport, kitchen to be stocked, etc (to be paid on arrival).
• At extra cost we can arrange a cook.
• One of the maids will do babysitting (arrange locally).
• There is a security guard 6pm-6am, gardeners and a pool maintenance man. The office is staffed during office hours and will be happy to help organise anything you may need.
• The development has another pool which you can use, but is same as the villa's. There is also a gazebo bar where, if you ask, they will open it and serve you drinks!
• You will find a local bar with fried food at bottom of road. It is very friendly !
• We can give you the number of a local masseuse - she comes to the house - lovely!

Location
Spice of Life is in a development of 10 villas. Two have long-term rentals, but it is usually very quiet. They are all designed to look like castles.

• 10 minutes' drive from international airport, but the villa is not on the flight path!
• 10 minutes to local town, for supermarkets etc.
• 7 minutes to local beach (Vieux Fort Bay in the gallery).
